Main Street Equity Partners, a Puget Sound region commercial real estate advisory and investment firm, focuses on land entitlements, development and property acquisition/disposition concentrating on traditional investments. With the typical investments and assignments including underutilized property with major upside potential, the repositioning of existing seasoned project, and selected new development opportunities. We assess the opportunity working with the owner, selected consultants and government entities to gain full understanding of the property’s potential—all leading to an agreed upon plan of action.

We select from a qualified list of partners, architects, contractors, engineers and other real estate professionals to build an appropriately sized team to meet the needs of each owner and project.

We offer services to a variety of owners and investors on a variety of projects. This is made possible by our wide range of experience and established relationships. Over time we have easily adapted to market conditions, property type and client demands.

  • What redevelopment opportunities are presented through the existing asset.
  • Would the acquisition of such assets have future development or other upside opportunities.
  • Given a financially distressed asset with in-place tenancy. Does it truly present a redevelopment opportunity.
 

New Development

  • Is it a well-positioned property in the path of future growth and opportunity.
  • Can our resident expertise and experience make a difference with a property having entitlement, hazardous material and/or environmental (i.e. wetlands) issues.
  • Can resident resources help with required recapitalization and/or repositioning of an otherwise viable development.
 
 

   Advisory, Consulting and RE Brokerage

  • We also provide task-based real estate advisory consulting, and RE brokerage services to development and investment clients.
 
 
  MARK A. WEED, Managing Member
Mark Weed has successfully run companies, assembled and lead project teams for over 30 years requiring attention to day to day activities, short- and long-range planning, staffing, financing and capital decisions, marketing, technology, client reporting, industry presents and government relations.

Most significantly, Mark was President of Fisher Properties Inc. located in Seattle, Washington where for over 17 years he successfully directed Fisher’s business efforts including development, acquisition, and management of the Company’s real estate assets. He oversaw the management and development of 1.8 million square feet of Class A office and industrial space and then coordinated the disposition and sale of the majority of those same properties including a 201-slip marina and nearly 500 acres of entitled land. For his efforts the Washington State Chapter of NAIOP awarded him Owner Representative of the year. He also held the title of Senior Vice President, Chief Property Officer for Fisher Communications where he provided corporate facilities advice.

Through Main Street, Mark provides advisory, development and brokerage services. This includes assembling, collaboration and communication with the necessary consultants, marketing professionals, and financing sources required to properly assess potential opportunities and to execute on development plans. He has extensive industry contacts, a strong reputation and solid understanding of the acquisition, disposition, entitlement, design, finance, planning and real estate leasing and contract process.
